Apparently that was the story, champ had folded and Football Manager 2005 was the new way to go.

With the games being really similar - but then they release Champ Manager 5 :nowords:

Any hoo - I know a few guys who love these games, and havent even given Champ 5 an hours attention.

Spent days on FM 2005 tho.

    Question answered?

Eidos has a disagreement with the designers and they left to go to Sega... Eidos kept the name and Sega took the game engine....

FM2005 is class... 2006 scheduled for November release!

Champ manager 5 tactics is better than fm 2005 IMO. but overall FM2005 is the original and best.

I'm playing FM 2005 at the moment but there is no major changes in it compared to CM 03/04.

CM 03/04 is by far the best in all the management series, it had cut out all the flaws and made excellent gaming, however had to move onto FM 2005 because it is more up to date plus CM5 makes me wanna rip my eyes out....
