paypal question about Temporary hold on funds.

ok i sold some speakers to ths a""hole in france on ebay,
i sent the item to him 7 days ago and now i have a email off paypal saying Temporary hold placed on funds?
hes saying he never receved them!!!! which i know he did.

i sold the speakers for 100 and now its showing -100

well i withdrew the money to my bank account on paypal on the 3rd and it said completed on paypal, yet funds was not in my account yet as they said it takes 5-7 days,

question is can paypal still refund him his money if the withdraw says completed, as this a""hole has got his speakers and trying to con me, to get his money back too!!!

anyone advize.

I pretty much had the same shit happen to me before.

Guy sent �15 for a ps2 game, and i received it no problems so i sent the game away.

A few days later i get an email from paypal saying that they're placing a hold on the �15 as the guy who sent it may have been using fraudulent funds or someshit.

Several emails were sent back and forth between myself and paypal for a good few weeks, and in the end they just kept the �15 and i lost the game aswell obviously.

Paypal really are a bunch of f-cking unhelpful useless c-nts. It wouldn't surprise me if they were run by the mafia, they're nothing but crooks.

Do you have proof of posting the speakers? i think that might help you. It's a pretty common scam on paypal that the buyer can just say he never received the goods, and unless you can prove you did send them, your basically screwed

my advice get a day or 2 off work get in your car drive to france visit the address 'deal' with it drive home stopping at a supermarket for ur booze and fags come back and sell the fags cheap to ur work m8s

jjcool: just recently i had the same problem. if you still have the proof of postage you should be covered. i was foolish enough to throw my proof away when the guy left me POSITIVE feedback. i was still screwed out of 17 quid. the cunt wants to send me the money via post but i'm not giving him my address for numerious reasons. i'm gonna start to pester him in a few days again. if you are a vip you can view it all

well i have tracking number and i checked but it says the system cant tell me at the moment, so i s this gona cover me? im worried now as i dont want to lose out on my speakers.

just waiting to see if they take anythink out my bank account, just waiting for the funds show in my bank account, anyone know how long withdrawing to bank takes? it said completed on the 5th on paypal?

currently got �200 on temp hold with paypal. sent them all the 'proof' theyve asked for and heard nothing since.

luckily for me the buyer has a positive feedback rating of a couple of thousand and has sold around 500 items since i dealt with them. they even contacted me to let me know why paypal were placing the funds on hold so its not looking too bad at the moment. seems some people arent that lucky

anyone know why it takes fuckin ages for paypal to do anything, accept take your money?

What company did you send them by? You're going to need proof that he did actually receive them.

The new thing is not only do they want the tracking info...they also want you to fax their 0870 number at your expense with a copy of the shipping slip.

Get the info for your delivery and send that to paypal if he claims to have not received it paypal will sort it out with parcelforce.
You should get your money back somehow ther compensation as standard is �150
