    Help Karaoke CD's

Can anyone tell me if you need a special writer to copy karaoke CD's, I have quite a lot of different discs but want to make a compilation disc up with all the different tracks I use a lot all in one place.
    Any help will be appreciated
    Thanks

You used to have to stick to certain writers, but think most can do it now.

Cheers for that Bobbobb, I have looked it up & a Plextor seems the right one that writes cd&g. Found a company in Horwich, Bolton called Scan that sell them & Disc Juggler is the best program to use, will try it & find out

Just my input , as already said most burners will now write karaoke files, its just a matter of finding the right program, i personally use cdrwin, alcohol 120 or nero will also do them, try a liteon writer as this is what i use, some ppl will find that using cdrwin will only produce the audio from the disk, same as nero does, if that fails then try alcohol, it can be a bit of a hit an miss thing finding out, if the files you are gonna burn come in mp3+g format (mp3 with a cdg file) then you dont need a writer that that reads cdg because you convert the files to .bin format an burn the bin files with either of the above mentioned progs, if you need to back up your original disk's (as most of us do ) then you will need a writer that is capable of reading cdg, the best option would be a pioneer 108-109 as these will read an write that format. if ya get stuck giz a shout an i'll try to help,,
