    Default Help Xda2i Bluetooth Conection

    Help i am having problems getting my xda2i connecteted with my bt100 bluetooth reciever can any anyone help me in laymans terms because i am a bit of a noob.
    I have got tom tom installed ok just cant connect with any satalites.

    have you added the receiver to bluetooth manager and paired it?

    in the bluetooth manager it comes up with a icon in outgoining connections saying bt gps and underneath it it says spp slave when i go to pair them the bt icon as a blue question mark in it ?

    i must be doin somat wrong?????????????

    sounds like they aint paired, it sees but not connected, on the xda do a search and install

    hold the stylus on the spp slave bit and select connect. Then go to tomtom, change prefs, gps, select 'other bluetooth gps'. select bluetooth com port 6 from the list (there are two, 5 and 6) and it should hopefully work.

    CHEERS for the replys i got it sorted for some reason it does not work with the bluetooth options com port 5 and 6 you have to select the option cable gps and this works just fine why it works on this i aint got a clue but its working just fine now.
