    Default Laptop buying advice

    Hey,

I'm currently at Uni and so am on a budget of about £700 ... £800 max! I'm looking for the best laptop I can get for my money really. I've looked all over really and just wondering what you guys think I should get for around that marker?

I'm just wanting to get the best laptop for my money, I dont have anything in the way of specifc requirements. Just websites or anything you think are offering a good deal at the minute. If you were gonna buy a laptop ... which would you get? Best makes etc?

Please help, cus I'm at a loss.

    Thanks in advance.

It all depends how you'll be using the machine. Games? If so look for something with an Turion 64 cpu and a Geforce or Radeon graphics chip, if not go for a centrino (longer battery life).

Some great deals to be had on ebuyer, Acer and HP seem to be about the best deals there.
