Entry Requirements

Hi,

Im not sure if this is the right section for this but its the closest to what im looking for

Ive been looking at university coarses as i cant sit around and do nothing for the rest of my life

And was looking at the university of portsmouth and this coarse...

Now i was looking at the entry requirements at was a bit confused.

300 points to include 3 x 6 unit awards in Maths, and Science or Technology subjects. Plus GCSE Maths and English grade C or above. (This course is accredited by the Engineering council so the entry requirements are subject to change)

I am sure about the GCSE parts but im not to sure on the 3 x 6 unit awards bit anyone know?

never mind i found out what the 3 x 6 units are. They are basiclly Maths, Science of some sort and another subject

keyskills at college are often referred to as units possibly those!

perhaps with engineering you could do a uni corse and work part time to get experience to within that sector, always looks good on your cv once you qualify.
