    Default Elvish?

    Hi

    Anyone gotta elvish tattoo?
Not really a big fan of Lord Of The Rings or any fantasy realted stuff, but really like the style of writing.

Cant seem to find my name (Id have SCOTT or SCOTTIO) but was woundering if anyone else knew how it would look?

Not saying id definately get it, but wouldnt mind seeing how it looked.

    Cheers

    Thanks for the link

However im am very confused now.
The PDF that comes with the font for that page has different characters, for certain letters, than This page or This Page

I am getting very confused, and obviously i dont want to get it wrong as it will be on my body for ever!

Anyone care to shed some light on which is more accurate?

    Cheers

That is the danger in having something written in a language you don't understand. Look at all the people walking around with "Beef in Black Bean Sauce" in Chinese.

    lol soo true mate.

However this is not a real language so in my oppinion if its close enough, and i like the look of it then i wouldnt mind.

After having a little read about, and asking some rather scarey people about it here is what i have below

the first 2 are Scott in 2 different styles

2nd 2 are Scottio in 2 different styles

finally the last one is my full name in 1 style

Really like em all but dunno which one to choose
    any ideas?

    Cheers

Just be careful with the font found in the link that is posted above.

Best to look at the PDF file that comes with it and also the 2 sites i posted.
Its not as easy as getting the font and simply typing the word in english as the ascii codes are wrong for the font.

Think my name translates back as 8z1Y' 1t^j5%85^
If you want me to translate the name you want i can do that for you, i sort of know how to translate it now, lol

    Cheers

Try telling the geek I work with who found the font that Elvish isn't a real language!!! 2nd one stands out the most.

Depends on which one i go for, lol

If i get the 2nd one itll probs be top of my arm or on my calf.
If i go for the last one itll probs be across my shoulders or lower back, or round my bicep like a celtic band sort of style.

Also what sort of price you do think id be looking at for one of these?

    Cheers

I tried this but its not 100%

The symbol for C show's up as a K with this translator.
However as said above i can pretty much translate anything myself now, its quite simple once you know the basics, lol
