Me with an Eagle Owl

This was taken about 8 years ago on holiday in North Devon, I had to call it over by making a stupid owl noise which was very embarassing but when it flew over and took the dead chick from my hand it was very, very cool. The pic is a scan as it was taken the old fashioned way by my late mum.

Some size of a bird! i remember going to a bird conservation place and the owls were absolutely huge, i had no idea they got so big.

This one had a 6 foot wing span. There was a pair in my local paper about a month ago for £150, boy was I tempted but then I'd have to make the whole garden into an aviary, so not such a good idea
