Not enough people were using it to warrent having it on tbh.
And anyone who was using google were also using Skype/MSN - so... ya know
well i still got both to be honest although i only speak to one person via google talk. (yes i am sad)
We use it a lot at work, mainly text though voice too.

for the 2 or 3 people i actually talk to, i use gtalk.
tbh development is a bit slow, i was hoping they would have started federation of services and introduction of features by now... still missing important things such as file transfers etc.
