Pc fighting games (like Tekken etc)

Anyone know any good 1-1 fighting games for the PC (such as Tekken on PS)?I have mortal combat 4 but tbh, compared to Tekken it's shite! I seen the ad for one which looked good but cannot for the life of me remember its name! If anyone can help out, I'd much appreciate it!

Have a look for Ragdoll Kung Fu. Very different to the Tekken/Virtua Fighter type of games, but still good.

i aint found one m8 but i just put ps1 emu on with toshinden, wow , y did i stop playin this, ellis is my pick cos she needs you to be fast and get in close, give it a go m8 you will soon lose a few hours b4 u know it.........anyone know why pc users never get the toshindens or soul calibres to play ??

I managed to get tekken 3 downloaded and play it on the emulator... Also got Thrill Kill which is great! I seen an advert for a PS2 game the other day on TV which looked great but canny remember the name of the damn thing!!

I know this is pretty useless advice but any console fighter on almost any console in the last 5 years is better than anything on the PC - including FX fighter. I dont know why they dont make them for the PC its very strange. Personally I would buy the cheapest 2nd hand console possible PS1, Dreamcast etc and get a copy of Tekken 2 or Soulcaliber if you want to play a good one at minimal cost.

How about Samurai showdown, this can be played on an Emu for the pc, and was quite good as far as i remember , but as for toe 2 toe fighting on the pc, i dont think theres enough of a market for it, it looks like that genere will always be with the consoles unfortunately.

you can alaways get neoragex and play king of fighters and samurai showdown, imho the best 2d fighters ever counting street fighter in the mix.

i use a psx emulator and use my psx games to play the games that normally arent made for pc...it works great with a joypad
