Anyone want a free tv?

Hey all!

If anyone lives in or near St Austell,Cornwall. My grandparents have a 28" toshiba 2987DB that they dont want anymore.it seems ok but according to them sometimes there's a slight green tinge when u watch dvds.
it would be free but someone would need to collect it.
They got their new TV today so just want to get rid of it quick as its a big bulky thing.
maybe good for a bedroom to play console etc on not sure?also not sure if there would be a green tinge on that either? anyways pm me if interested.

that slight green tinge could well be something to do with the Scart/settings they are using.

Funny how it happen on dvd playback.

i thought that about scart settings mate but try telling that to ya gran who still thinks having two phones in the house is high tech pmsl! :whistle

She thinks it happens when watching tv sometimes too but its always been fine when ive seen it.

im sure my granddad just told her it was like that so he could get a new widescreen he's been on about it for ages lol!

oh and by the way i forgot to say theres no remote with it but there is instructions.
im sure one of those one 4 all things would work. they were using their S** remote.

I also have a toshiba crt 32" which has a slight green tinge. Found if I just use my surround sound that takes it away (turn off the internal speakers)
Just thought I would share that may help whoever takes LiquidJay up on his kind offer.

Hey all just an update, i put the tv on freecycle about half ab hour ago and have received an email bk already.
if no replies here by 6 then will pass it on. hope thats ok!
sorry i cant leave it any later i've been told its really taking up space.
