Hi, Just got a new SE K700i from Virgin and have been told it will take 30 days for the unlock code to be emailed to me

Can anyone here help?

Not with an unlock code m8, it can only be done by sending it away to someone like me m8. Which will take a couple of days and cost the price of postage to send, and about £5 for return postage.

I am not doubting you, but am curious to know how Virgin can email me the unlock code, when people like yourself actually need to have the phone.

Because people like me use the hardware to unlock handsets like these. The networks do it differently. They must either get in touch with the handset manyfacturer and request the codes, or they actually have a code generator, but I dont think the latter is the case.

No problem at all m8.

I also do debranding too,,, which means I can take all the network branding off and put the original SE firmware on. Cant do that via e-mail,,, lol. :thumbs
