Aol Boadband nad Wireless

Hi all, hope ive posted in the right place, Ive been asked to set-up a AOL broadband connection with wireless. The system is already setup up as a standard AOL modem to a fixed pc, and the Wireless router that ive been told is there is D-Link 614+..

Im thinking of using a spare pc as an internet gateway / print server?

Any suggestions in setting this up? or anyone else done this?

The router is the gateway, no need for a PC to become one.

As for the router, that won't be of any use for connecting to an ADSL service.

Get an ADSL wireless router and make your life a whole lot easier.

the router has a built in adsl modem and hub, il use it as a gateway, is there any slly settings i should need to know about with AOL, and none AOL Routers ???

If that's the case, then it isn't a 614+ as you stated in your original post

thats what ive been told it is..... ITs a Broadband Router. ADSL modem....HUB, and wireless.... and its the D-link 614+....

The D-Link 614+ does not have an integrated ADSL modem.
