I'd get some but for three sets, I think the delivery price of £7.65 (+vat) is a bit excessive as they don't exactly weigh much!!
other than that, ink is a great price for those who can collect!
thats not right ??
its 7.65 if you select courier - you can select royal mail - its much cheaper (4.95)
and 3 sets is just over 1kg believe it or not (335 Grams per set)

My neighbour mentioned to me a few days ago that Epson are trying to sue the companies that make 3rd party carts, any idea if this is true? If so what are the chances that they'll actually win?
I saw in the product description that Datawrite have ceased production, is that anything to do with it?

If they get a patent on the design of the cartridge then yes, they can. If their name is a trademark (which I'm sure it is) then yes, they can sto pthem using the words "epson" in the selling of them.
Hmmm, if that is the case then I should think all makers will sue everyone and the poor consumer will have to fork out for originals, that'll hurt the pocket big time.Originally Posted by John Keymer

epson has won the court case against compatible sellers
Epson has scored another victory against a retailer of Epson-compatible ink jet printer cartridges, it said on Tuesday.
The Japanese company recently filed patent infringement proceedings against CybaHouse, a reseller of third-party ink cartridges in Southend-on-Sea, to stop the sale and importing of Epson-compatible cartridges. CybaHouse imported the cartridges from an unidentified company in China and sold them in the UK under the IM Jet brand, Epson said in a statement.
The case has been settled out of court after CybaHouse and a sister company, Nutronic, and their directors agreed to stop selling the cartridges in question, Epson said. CybaHouse also agreed to pay Epson's legal costs and an undisclosed sum in damages.
Epson has reported several successes since early this year after hitting companies selling third-party cartridges that it says infringe on its patents.
In June it settled a case with Multi-Union Trading Co that saw 75 of Multi-Union's cartridge models barred from being imported to the US, Epson said. Multi-Union, in Hong Kong, sells its products in the US under the PrintRite brand. A few days later Epson said that Environmental Business Products, a U.K. company, stopped importing and supplying Epson-compatible printer cartridges as a result of an out-of-court settlement between the two companies.
checked ebay and there hardly any sellers now all the big sellers have been removed
So any of these 'left'??

Wonder if it might be an idea to start stock-piling these little fuckers?
I'm pretty pissed off - I bought an Epson R300 mainly because of the cheap compatibles - a full set of originals cost a fuckin bomb!! :o
Still, I have my chip resetter somewhere - could always go about re-filling them.
