    Default bulldog or sky

    having major problems with ukonline with slow speeds un reliable conection.


    so im looking 2 move either bulldog or www.16meg.co.uk( to combat the 2 far fropm exchange bollox:grr

    any comenst please:thumbs

    satellite has very high latency, and you still need a connection for upload (usually a dial up connection)

    What are your line stats at the moment, there's probably a reason why you have a slow unreliable connection.
    Have you checked your filters (is everything filtered), unplugged everything apart from the modem, tried plugging into the port behind the master socket?

    Check the line stats each time to see if they improve.

    well bulldog are still the same distance from the exchange as are 16meg unless you take the satellite option, in that case you'll be paying an absolute shitload

    have on my line

    ukonline
    sky
    fones

    how do i put it in the port behind the socket?

    every thing is filtered

    Locate the master socket, remove the 2 screws holding the faceplate, remove the faceplate by pulling on the lower half of the socket, and connect your microfilter to the socket you have just uncovered.
