    Hi there

Does anyone know of anywhere nr Glasgow that I can get my PS2 fixed? The drive only opens about 1 inch then closes!

    No idea what happened.

probably dust build up or somethings out of line usually due to a drop. Worth a look inside if you are ok with a screwdriver

Sounds like the tray has come of its guide arm or the drive is miss-aligned so the tray can get out properly.

    Easy fix mate.
Just remove the top, remove the 2x screws on the left side of the drawer.
Pull out the drawer, and push over to the right the white component with teeth on one end.
Put the drawer back in and screw back together ....
