Shooooooo-ryuken!
nice one, thanks
I rang about four shops yesterday to confirm the price. In stock in all of them in the North west............A month ago same one was 39.99 There the same as an ipod in shape and function with the same typy of menu Brilliant sounds I .Think Good Luck.Paul
just been to my store and they are 1 gig?? anyone got any ideas?
JUst ring round the stores till you find them. The one gig dosent have the re chargeble batterie
Do a search on this thread to see previous pictures there on page three
hehe they should've called it the iMedion just to complete the iPod rip off
still not a bad price will be awesome when they can knock these out with a small TFT, video play back, larger drive and £50 price tag...
untill then I think i'll settle with my free shuffle (edit: in fact i'm not so sure. I hate converting all my tunes to mp3 from wma...I might sell it and get one of these...hummm)
and to give my post some point to it:
Spoiler:
I'm new to this
oh
I just went to my local Kwik Save and what did I see? bloddy empty shelves, literally all over the store. The whole place was being shut down
I asked anyway on the off chance but they nearly laughed, you could see they had fook all left.
edit: well fuck it, on comparison to the 20GB Samsung mp3 player I just got for £65 I dont rate these as much now

yeah, and it was £58 becuase I used a paypal discount.
fucking stoked!
their feedback is good, they seem to have sold 15+ of these players, all positive that I read and good comments. not 100% sure about the player but for £58 for 20GB it can just get resold if shite.
I will report back when it's come, but there no guarentee they'll be on there.
Samsung Napster YH-920 , £60 BIN Ex-cat and returns stock. (batteries available for £9 too from the US, so that's sorta good)
oh: and most importantly, no shiiiiiite itunes/conversions, WMA and MP3 friendly

ahhh I feel smug, I hope this doesn't die on me, it's a nifty little machine, well worth £120+ lol

shangrula you absolute bastard.....I'm gonna have to raid my bank account now
edit - there's been a couple of £60 auctions on ebay, so might just wait and keep an eye open for one.
Plus, if it was DOA, paypal probably wouldn't care that they said about 'no warranty' in the auction

keep 'em peeled mate
I've just charged it for 3 hours, I was pleased it took the standard amount and not less, as i belive thats a sign of a fucked battery. I hope it lasts the 9 hours stated, but we'll see. As they are 'replaceable' (just) I am not really bothered, although I havn't found the part yet (but not looked either).
I do have two problems with my unit. One: the hold button on the actual player seems sketchy to non existant. So this will be why it was retrned. I really dont mind this, I mean it was £57, it wasn't gonna be perfect. also it's got a few scratches, but it's had use by someone who listens to the libertines so I expected it, hehe. (they left all their tunes on it and they are all shite).
The sound quality is great, I wouldn';t want it any better I dont think. The menus and navigation are really easy.
Overall I am shocked the seller sells them for just £60, I think he could sell them for £80 and sell just as many. but let's keep that to ourselves
