Maximum signature image size is: 468 x 60 or no more than 5 lines of normal sized text, this is merely to keep loading times to a reasonable level....

Shit I'm trying to find a bit of software that'll downsize it, Photoshop resizes but it changes it to a single file.....bugger.

It's meant to freak you out, I can always go back to the 'Yippee another lame ass thread!' one.

I would think a >1400kb sig is probably gonna go quicker than a spawn of lisabott mate.

It's a separate program. It should be in your programs list or you can start it from within PS by clicking the button at the bottom of the toolbar.



As for the signature size, I think it's fairly obvious that a 1.4MB file is too large, regardless of dimensions.

ye.... im gonna add a filesize limit to the rules... cos using a 10 meg file in yer sig that is shrunk to the size requirements still doesnt help towards keeping loading times to a minimum

you do realise there are other ways to lower file size than by changing the actual image size.

right, ive updated the rules to state that signatures exceeding 500kb will be removed.

youve got 24 hours to remove the 711kb's worth of shite that you have in your sig before it gets binned gel, thats way too excessive...

any idea how long it takes for a thread youve posted in to load for a 56k'er...
