"Newlyweds" Nick and Jessica Split
"Pop stars turned reality TV couple Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey are calling it quits after months of persistent break-up rumours.
The pair married in October 2002 when they were known for their pop careers, Simpson as a solo artist and Lachey as a member of the boy band 98 Degrees.

The couple's reality show, Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica, turned them into stars, but lately they have been dogged by speculation that their marriage was in trouble
In a joint statement released by their publicists, they said: "After three years of marriage, and careful thought and consideration, we have decided to part ways.
"This is the mutual decision of two people with an enormous amount of respect and admiration for each other."
The Newlyweds show, which ran for three seasons, made Simpson infamous for her dippy-blonde moments, including the time she confused the tuna she was eating for chicken, or when she eschewed Buffalo wings because "I don't eat buffalo".
Simpson, 25, played Daisy Duke in this summer's hit movie The Dukes of Hazzard.
Lachey, 32, whose solo album has had disappointing sales, appeared in some episodes of the sitcom Charmed.
Besides appearing in Newlyweds, the couple entertained US troops earlier this year in a TV special, Nick & Jessica's Tour of Duty, and last year they hosted a variety special, Nick & Jessica's Family Christmas. "

Never watched Newlyweds and have no idea what her husband looks like, but i'd love to shift Jessica Simpson.
