whenever something new comes out there are claims of unreliability all over the place. NDS had loose hinges and bad paint - not true , PSP had button issues and psychopathic umd drives - not true, xbox 1 had crash issues and even rumours of fires - not true. The only consoles with reliability issues from the start seem to be the ps2/pstwo range.

Anyway when you mass produce a product like this its the same with most electrical products. Your gonna get a few problems with some which sucks :/ But if you look at how many they've shipped against how many are defective the numbers are in the minority. Were only hearing about the duff ones maybe we should start hearing about the good ones

if chipping has tought me anything its that xboxs r indetructable.

only yesterday did i have a version 1.0 xbox in for chipping. i dont knink there are many v1 sonys that still alive.

lets hope xbox360 is a strong as xbox1. and def all the conections via ide piss over them shitty ribons

very few launch thomson drive xboxs are alive nowadays either, ive had tons in that needed the laser replacing, anything with a laser drive in is gonna wear out
