Use your Xbox controller on your PC

This simple mod (involves a bit of soldering but not hard, it can be done with a stripper and a connector block though) allows you to use your Xbox controller as a PC controller with full (and very good IMO) rumble support. yeah did this one myself quite awhile ago good easy mod to do but hard to get working with any decent games might have to see if i can get it working with bf2 that would be awesome

I've also tried this a long time ago with the same results. Didn't work with anything.

There just arn't any good xbox controller drivers for windows out there.

if you have an action replay u can just plug ur controller into it and use that.

I've got a usb adaptor to plug into my pc from the xbox controller.
works on all Mame games that I've tried

not tried any other games but if You have the XBCD drivers installed, then it may work

I got an adapter cable from Game for about £12 I think a few months back, came with a driver disk, works perfectly on my pc.
If I can find the driver file I'll post it later (I'm at work right now)

oh thank you, hope it works.
although, I have another wee program (freeware) to let you emulate a mouse with a joystick/pad, you would need that too, when I get home tonight I'll post that up too (I can't even remember it's name right now!)

Sorry guys, the XBCD driver was included in the guide link. The driver works great for me, all the buttons are configurable with pov for the d pad and both analog sticks. Fully adjustable rumble and force feedback support. I've only tried it with IL-2 (flight sim) and Motocross Madness 2 but they work brilliantly. That plus emulators makes it perfect for me!

i use my xbox pad with battlefield 2 (great for flying any helicopter or planes)
never had problems using it with anyother games
(using latest XBCD drivers so i can even plugin my steel battallion controller aswell :-) )

installed the XBCD drivers also installed controlMK to emulate the mouse (a breeze to set up) got it off the XBCD site http://www.redcl0ud.com/controlmk/ControlMKv0232.exe

here's the settings i used to map the mouse to right joystick

Right JoyStick
X Rotation - = MOUSE_MOVE_X_NEG
X Rotation + = MOUSE_MOVE_X_POS
Y Rotation - = MOUSE_MOVE_Y_NEG
Y Rotation + = MOUSE_MOVE_Y_POS
