Does anyone know what's happening as regards accessories? When can we get hold of HD's, component cables etc?

I tried placing an order with amazon for a HD and cables, said 2-3 days to dispatch on each item yet when I got to checkout it claimed 4th Feb 2006 as the estimated dispatch date....... wtf?

Smells of a bad launch if you ask me. You always have trouble getting the consoles, but never the accessories. There's normally more than enough of those to go round.

Playing on a shitty composite cable is not what I had in mind.

yup, crap isn't it, I asked in every electrical/game store in birknhead
for either a HD lead / vga lead / HDD but no chance

I eventually got the last vga lead at an independant (game zone 2, new ferry).

I can live without the cables, wireless controller etc for a while. But without a HD it's fukin hopeless.

I think MS are punishing us for only buying the core system........

Try ringing PC World , they may be able to locate one for you, I did this last night, and picked one up. They reserved one for me from the call centre. Will be an 0870 number I think.

Was a 50 mile round trip, but you pays your money, and all that.

it's wierd.. i went down the street today to look for a VGA cable and couldnt find a single sign that the 360 was even out

even the shop i bought my console from didnt have anything to buy at all, and not even any posters or flyers... very strange

None in stock m8, can't find anyone who has. I can't wait so I bought one off ebay yesterday. I ain't saying how much I paid for it because it hurt.

to be fair it really was not that hard a few months back when i found out they was replacing my xbox with a shiney new one i went into game and the nice man took �20 pounds and told me to come back on the 2nd dec i did and he had a full system with my name on
