Hope its better than the Aldi one, as I swopeed it 3 times at the store but the picture quality was poor, most pictures looked washed out and the last two would not play pre recorded DVD's properly as there was no speech sound.
I bought an LG and it was £20 more and only a 80gig hard drive but it is fantastic.

There was a queue out of the door this morning at the lidl near me. When we did get in the manager said that they only had 3 recorders and one had been reserved by someone who rang up!!!
So only 2 people (out of about 25) got them
