I'm rapidly becoming a convert........

Never really been a massive console fan up until now, I always preferred pc gaming and as far as online gaming was concerned then apart from xbconnect it was only via pc games. But with the xbox 360 things seem to be changing for me. The 360 is turning out to be something I could easily fall in love with.

First the games I've played so far are stunning, especially PGR3 and Quake IV, not played CODII yet but it's on it's way. And once the games have matured they'll be even better.

Secondly, connection to my pc to access music and pictures was a dream, pity you need to fuck about with WMC to get video but I suspect that won't be for long.

And lastly xbox live, this is how online gaming should work. It's seemless, or has been so far and easy to setup. For someone who is used to PC online gaming I was amazed at how quick and pain free it was to get started.

So all in all it's a winner for me so far, just hope I haven't spoken too soon.

yep sony and ninty will really need to pull out the goods as there online systems really let them both down last time

but i am guessing they both have a team copying live as we speak

so should be all good

I saw the thread title and the author and so wished it was in the Wrestling Freaks Section

But i do agree. Played on my mates 360 over the weekend and it's good fun. May even invest in one myself.

sony have announced theyre not working on an online section for theyre its going to up to the individual devs to come up with servers and access:\

Ninty have announced that youll be able to download theyre whole back catalogue to play so that should be an interesting system to watch.

thats a bit poo i bet your have to pay to play each game online then the live one off payment(per year)

better bit like live acade(but you do have some new games in there) but what about playing new mario and pokamon games(sorry lol) online

I have to say I have been very impressed with the way they have done xbox live.

The way it sits in the background and lets you chat to your mates while your playing different games is great !

I just hope someone works out a new PC Client so we can stream video and DivX without the need to convert or put MCE on.

The ease of XBox Live has kept me entertained for ages on Halo 2, nothing like being put into a game in less than a minute of going in.

Not another CJ / Xbox 360 thread.

Your threads are like constant digs to my bitter side as I am yet to get a bloody console. Even after pre-ordering from 2 different suppliers mid August.
However, mine is being shipped with the cowboys at Parcelfarce right now, and if they do not kick the crap out of it, and it actually arrives by the weekend. I will be replying to these threads with educated comment, as opposed to bitterness, by the weekend.

Not got a 360 yet but XBOX live has always been a doddle. I've been streaming form my PC ever since I mooded the XBOX way back in the mists of time, it's good to see that BIll Gates keeps an eye on what we get up to and incorporates it in the new hardware!
