premiums would be better for most people, but core is easier to get hold of.

to be honest i dont c all the fuss about the hdd i have both the hdd and a memoery card and apart from downloading arcade games the memoery card can do all the same as the hdd, i would say go for a premium but if u see a core grab it, at the end of the day a 360 is a 360

premium. You cant play xbox games or download content without the hard drive. The wireless pad is great aswell, you can turn the console on and off with it. If you have a hd tv then you need the leads. Im not sure if you can use live without a hard drive either (maybe you can with an additional memory card). Go with premium, you wont regret it.

Get yourself a premium if you can, I just spent a fortune getting myself a HD and as stocks of all accessories seem to be low and will be until the new year then a premium is the way to go. Especially if you are planning on having HD output.

I'd rather wait and get a premium as opposed to rushing out and getting a core and then feeling gutted having to spend extra for a wireless pad and hdd.Saying that almost got a core from a little shop in Altrincham today just because they had them in stock, that was until i asked how much and he said £550 (no bundle just the core pack).

At the moment premium, its the best deal seeing as many people with cores will buy a HDD etc and lots will upgrade the video cable. The current premium pack will be superseeded at some point tho, when (if) larger hard discs become available, I can see premium owners being reluctant to shelve their old hard drives whereas core users wont have the same dilemma.

Personally, I think i'd buy core right now, plus a component cable and see what 3rd party stuff is about in a month or so.

To be perfectly honest, I feel that if you can get a core pack and the hd at a decent price its worth doing so. The headset is shit (i am using my old xbox one and is much better), the remote is ok but everything can be done with the joypad and the increased features one, will be out in the new year.

The wireless pad is excellent though, but you COULD do without it and treat yourself later?! And I believe you can play on live without hd as long as you have a memory card for your profile.

I am not trying to knock the premium pack at all, I have one and think it was great value but I am trying to look at it logically and realistically, as well as trying to talk a fellow clan member round who is also considering each.
