Rant How do I go about a Price Match in Asda?

I see they have 360 Wireless Pads inMy local Asda and I cant seem to find em in stock anywhere else so I was gonna grab one before CXmas, however although its only a couple of quid I was pissed off to find that they have put £3 on the RRP I read that the Microsoft Recommended Retail Price was £29.99 same as a few places Play, Game etc and they are asking £32.97 so I was gonna go in and ask them to sell it to me at the correct price what do you need to price match? Do I just print off the Play page or Game page from the website? Also I imagine it has to be in stock too? Maybe I could save the page into Frontpage and edit it to say that there is stock
    Cheers

is it really worth the effort for £3?

usualy to price match they will want printed proof that they are avaliable (and able to get) and the given price.

So i doubt they will offer it if its out of stock.

That my experience in 'price match' anyway.

All they say is provide the advert and they will match any deal as long as you provide the proof. (Was bored waiting at the till last night so read posters on the wall) Don't remember the T's&C's though sorry.

Liek I said its only a couple of quid but its the principal, you know they will be £29.99 again when its not xmas time and everyone doesnt want one. Just like bloody Cause and effect innit! Walmart thought lets hike up the price but not a lot just a very small amount so nobody can hardly notice we got enough stores to make enough out of!
Which reminds me gonna go and post in teh D&D about Sky's latest subscriber figures!!!! 8 Million!

to price match they need a real advert as they keep that as proof that it was price matched m8 and not just done because u said its cheaper elsewhere.
they wont match internet prices because it has to be within i think 5 miles from the store where your purchasing the item although if its a big company that advertise's in the nat papers then they match that
i seen them in my store today at £33
but my local gamestore there £30 and the wireless adaptor is only £50 and before anyone ask's thats grainer games in newcastle/ northumberland area about 7 shops they have
