At uni we shove smirnoff red through a water filter. It makes it a LOT better for not much money

haha class, we have a filter in our house at uni. gonna try that next time. we can't afford smirnoff, we buy the red sq. stuffgood vodka (grey goose etc) is fucking awesome. Shit vodka sucks.

Dont they filter it like 3 times or something in the brewery? what will putting it through a water filter do? lol vodka sucks, used to drink it all the time, cant go near the shit now, tastes like something out a science lab lol

filtering it about another 4-5 times through a water filter just generally gets rid of a lot of harsh kick the vodka has but keeps the alcohol content. Making for a smoother drink.
Still gets you pissed too
Cheap vodka is the best to use though (not tried the really cheap stuff though)- my local shop always has smirnoff on special (plus I get 10% off it due to knowing the people there) so we use that.

there is a website that i think was posted on here that tells you how to filter vodka to make it better, few times through the water filter makes it taste and smell like water apparently. i suppose it probably makes the hangover a bit better to
i always get smirnoff now, no hangover and you can drink it till you cant stand up anymore without spewing it back up

Don't the Polish/Russians freeze vodka so that the only liquid remaining is the bare alcohol?

Ahh, the age old vodka debate. Here's my tuppence
42 below is the way to go! Smooth as a nippers sack and tastes like heaven. Grey Goose is also very good, but can get boring after a few depending on the mixer used.
That being said, i'm off out to wetherspoons later to sample a good dozen double Vodka RedBulls....expect i'll be pissed as areseholes by 6pm

lol.. I remember the fun we used to have in the forces pouring a family pack of skittles into a litre bottle and leaving the feckers to disolve... no mixer required.. tastes sweet as fuck... looks like shit but fuck me you end up twatted lol..
heres another one go get yerself some magic mushrooms... boil em filter the water... make into ice cubes... pop em in drinks at yer NYE party... it will be a very unusual affair... did this at a works doo a couple of years ago.. oh how we laughed. By the way... not spiking let people know whats in the cocktail...
