I used to frequent Grunta most weekends probably 9 summers ago now walking down from mortehoe, lovely little beach.

I have some spare time today and I feel ill so hopefully I can get some inspiration and whack a photo on for this comp. better late than never
    I'm new to this

Nine years ago, I was 23, could well have bumped into you at one time or another. Did you ever frequent Marisco's????

yes but only a few times in all honesty. At the time I was 13 so it was a bit hard (although not impossible) to go to places. I stuck to beaches as I always preferred going down there, having a fire and having fun with my mates all night long than going out to bars.

as for the compo, I took this:

I didn't know if I wanted to enter it but I figured I had nothing to lose. I spent only a few seconds in photoshop on it, as i'm sure you'd have guessed. I was going to enter it as white and green but I didn't wanna ruin the B&W theme.

(just to edit: it's ok, I know it's crap )

I didn't mean anything by it, it's pixel perfect. It blows the rest of the pics out of the water, your just too good! Do you do photography for a living or side job or is it purely a hobby?

EDIT: @shangrula, wouldn't you be jeleous! It's a ridiculously good photo.

Ok, I took this one on the 7th January for the competition. I didn't post it then as I was hoping to get out to get a better picture but never got round to it, so this one will have to do. More black and grey though

Ok, just wasn't sure what you meant by it, but thanks, I am proud of that one, there were about 10 others that weren't perfect though, random people poppingup from behind the rock etc etc.. At present it's just a serious hobby, but hoping to possibly make a living from it one day, have already been commissioned to do some montage work for my sisters horsey mates, (By that I mean they are into horses not look like them) and I have a wedding coming up next month too. Plus a trip to Colorado for a weeks snowbaording and some landscape photography... So my stock images selection should grow rapidly..
