it says 9600 xt display adaptors.. i know its defo a 9800 xt this has only happened since my last format

m8 if that proggy say's 9600xt then i am afraid to say it seems like u got a 9600xt,once the proggy was setup did u right click on the sys tray icon and select options then adapter information

Which actually sounds about right for £150 this time last year coz they about £70-£90 now...

What sort of budget are you on for a new one?...also your a bit more limited with AGP now as more manufacturers are steering towars PCI-E for their high end graphics cards....

do u know what the clock speeds are,,,that proggy i gave u will tell u,just hover over the icon in system tray and it will give u engine and memory speeds in mhz's

the 9600 xt over drive has 500mhz engine and 300 memory
