cheapest way to stream music from pc to 360??

hi

due to bb not being available in my area

i've never seen the need to have a wireless setup in the house so i've kinda missed the boat on the whole thing

there seem to be so many speeds and numbers that its all a little confusing. all i want to do is stream from my pc upstairs to my 360 downstairs for as little coin as possible, what iyo would be the cheapest way??

just buy a crossover cable if your pc has an ethernet port or buy a pci ethernet card if it does either way wont be a lot of money m8

yes really though i want it to be wireless, seen a few kits at pc world but not sure whether i need a router etc or not, after the most basic setup possible as its only the two bits connecting

man were do you live on a boat thought it was pretty much every were now

like the man said cheap and wireless not really the same thing ballpark of about �100 i would guess

Windows ICS will work with wireless network card's and you do not need to have a wireless router. In effect the computer with the ADSL modem and a wireless network card become your wireless router.

To create a wireless network using just wireless network cards, you need to run the cards in what is called AD-HOC mode

Go wired.... instead of running the cable all over the house.... run it on the outside of the house.... all you need is a good drill and some cat 5e or 6 cable and your away.... Cheepest option on my view.... and a cat 6 link Pi$$e$ on any wifi network.....

i live on a housing estate in a fairly big city, in a house thats about 2 years old. it amazes and frustrates me every day aswel, we have tpon lines which was meant to be the next big thing, but it wasn't it was adsl and now they won't relay the grid

can't even play on live, the final nail in the coffin

its been like this 2 years now, i'm moving house i'm tellin you (missis thinks i'm joking

i'm on 56k, imagine that

the joke of it all that the line is shit it has days where it just disconnects on and off all day

also i moved house from a 700k and something connection from *** so it was even worse, whoever said its better to have loved then lost etc was fcuking lying

good ol bt's postcode checker said " hell yes you can get bb, its flooding out of the walls!!" so i moved and............. "sorry you are too far from the exchange" bullshit, they won't even admit they fcuked up

sorry, going on a bit there but as you can imagine its a bit of a sore point
