i was wondering if anybody ahd managed to connect to there media centrer pc, i have been trying for days and still no luck had a look through the xbox.com setup but no luck.

cant find were 2 put in my code the the xbox game me either

install the extender from the xbox website. Shut down your firewall until you get it going.

was that a full version or the xp add on , im doing my head in tying 2 get this working, there is no were for me 2 add my passkey.

Runner - what version of MCE do you have installed? I am using a clean install of MCE 2005 and it works great... I needed to install the setup program from xbox.com/pcsetup, but on running the file that downloaded from xbox.com I went right into a setup program and it asked for the serial number that my xbox gave me...

I also have an option in the start menu (Accessories > Media Centre > Extender setup I think) where I can add an extender or 360 extender... have you got this option?

no i have 2004 edition, it was a single setup file as a addon for xp pro.

i have a "backup copy" that i got for newzbins but when i try 2 install it ask for service pack 2 cd, that isnt included, any 1 like 2 poitn me in the right direction
