    Default Broadband line TV?

    Hello all...
Basically I have the following setup NThell:

TV line downstairs going into front room. Then an extension around the outside of the house and in upstairs into my room with broadband running on it...
Now here is my question... Will the line running upstairs for the broadband be carrying TV signals too?
Just that I have a spare set-top box (due to dbox downstairs) so if it has I was considering putting a splitter in my room, connecting up the box and then putting it into a capture card on my PC, thus getting cableTv on my screen.
    Would this work?

I reckon it would as they go down the same line don't they (ie, not two separate lines for bb and tv?)

Yes mate, stick a splitter on that feed and off you go. The signal will attenuate -3.5db from both outputs from the splitter but its highly unlikely it will have any effect on the av output or modem.

    Cheers for the help...

I have a 10db Attenuator on the modem at the moment anyway - would I leave that on there or remove it?
