dvd ram editing software

I purchased myself a panasonic es20 the other day to get rid of the stand alone freeview and VCR. I've had a good mess about with the editing features that are on the es20 so obviously I wanna extend my editing to the PC department.

Anyone recommend any editing software from media recorded on RAM?
