I cannot connect to the N T L server full stop at the moment

Am trying to install a Hauppauge WinTV-T PCi now, that's another story, ACPI probs now lol, can see that going back!

EDIT: Got ACPI problems with the tv card so won't let me boot up, I could disable ACPI but sod that, it'd be like having win 98 what with messing about with IRQ's lol, fcucked about for nearly 6 hours....it's going back to PC World, very dissapointed.

One thing I would advise with newzbin is to go into the options and filter out the stuff you dont like, I personally only view DVDs and Xvids/Divx under the movie section as im not intereseted in svcd's etc. in the search bar i normally just search for the new stuff by typing in the year for example just type 2005 in and the newest stuff pops up. works great and saves lots of time.

As far as providers etc go, im on newshosting unlimited £8 ish a month, i can get 8 connections with grabit, which is basic but serves its purpose as far as leeching goes, and subscription to newzbin is a must. Just like Heaven DVDR Replica just been added to the queue, will keep the misses happy!

I have been using Newsgroups for over 5 years now i use easynews as there interface is fantastic. But as i own a mac i find the odd gold nugget on a few torrent sites but newsgroups are the way to go if you want good download speeds

I pull over 700Gb's each month off the newsgroups, their is no chance you could get that sort of data off Bit torrent in the same amount of time.

Looks like I'll have to subscribe to a NG thing then as well as pay for Newzbin, N T L still wont let me connect!!!! I think I was told porkies about them having a problem with it.

Im using newzbin less and less and using the free nzb sites more....
Don't get me wrong newzbin is the best as far as what is listed and where but i tend to only pay for it when i can't find the nzb anywhere else. (must be gettin tight in my old age . )
As for news host's i've used several over the years and newshosting (unlimited) seems to be the best for what u pay for, for me anyway.
Used Grabit b4 nzb's where around then turned to newsleecher when nzb files came on the scene but as soon as Grabit supported Nzb i turned back to Grabit.
Torrents have there place but Newsgroups are the daddy..

Right, I'm fuckin sick of NG already... I have downloaded three things and all of them came through as "incomplete grabs" so I tried sorting them with the par files for them, only to be told I needed 200+ more blocks for each!

have a look at binage.com (if you need an invite pm me an email address cos ive got about 10 invites) and on there you can search for what you want then have a look to mae sure its complete before downloading

Underworld Evolution is out on POT UK in torrent form already but it doesn't seem to be on any newgroups, only the ost mp3 stuff, hmmmm. Do newsgroups take a while to catch up?
