    Default Prostituation...legalised?

The law is to be changed to allow up to three pr0stitutes to work legally in brothels, the Government has confirmed.Currently only one pr0stitute can offer paid sex without breaking the law.

Home Office minister Fiona Mactaggart said this meant women were forced to work in unsafe conditions.

She was speaking at the launch of a new strategy document for England and Wales.

The Government is also creating a new penalty specifically for pr0stitutes so courts can give them help for drug or alcohol abuse.

The penalty will cover people convicted of loitering or soliciting for prostitution, which is presently dealt with by a fine in most cases.

Ministers have already ruled out a previous proposal to create licensed "red light" zones to deal with street prostitution.

The strategy document also calls for kerb crawlers to be "prosecuted rigorously" to protect local communities.

There should also be warning signs, CCTV and extra street lighting in red light areas, it adds.

Under existing laws, kerb crawling, soliciting, pimping and brothel-keeping are illegal - but sex workers are more frequently prosecuted than clients.

According to figures, there are around 80,000 women working as pr0stitutes in the UK, with more than half under the age of 25.

Voluntary group Safe Exit, which works to help pr0stitutes in east London, has said it would prefer to see decriminalisation.

I dont understand this, in the opening paragraph it says "Currently only one pr0stitute can offer paid sex without breaking the law" but then near the end it says "Under existing laws......pimping and brothel-keeping are illegal"

So which one is it? :/

Also, how is allowing 3 workers going to make safer conditions?

24hr drinking...brothels...we just need cannabis legalised now and we'll open the floodgates for more tourists lol

I'd imagine making it 3 instead of 1 will make it safer as whores could work in the same establishment legally and club together to pay the madam to run the show and have panic buttons and shit.

If the whore is working alone and cant afford a madam or whatever and is working from home, punters could come in and shag em and not pay or beat em up or kill em.

i heard on the news about em working in twos and a brothel never quite understood it. I think they want it so the punter gets twice for his money.

Theres a 24hr brothel up the road from me that has 10+ whores working constantly, never gets any hassle from the filth.
The place is run well and the filth know this, the've turned a blind eye to well ran brothels for years.

I know of only one brothel locally that was closed and that was a right shithole, the tarts robbed you, the place was a pigsty, diseased, it needed burning down not just closing down.

I work in Soho and there are brothels everywhere!
Everyone is an open door with a bit of yellow card on the door with 'New Chinese Model' or 'Busty Beautiful Blonde' etc.... Makes us laugh at work watching the dirty old men come out of them places lol.

Were behind the times in this country, places like Australia have had brothels for years. I think it's a good move. They'll pay tax and when i'm a dirty old man i'll be able to sneak to one after work or during my luch break lol.
