What do certain Tattoos mean?

I personally get them if I like the design, my next choice of a spiderweb has been known to mean you have served time and killed a minority. I haven't done either, it just looks cool. My wife of Greek heritage agrees.

Here are a few others I found on the web, feel free to add to the list or correct it:

A tear by your left eye - means that you have eather killed someone. More recently it has been known to signify that your best friend was murdered.

3 dots - my crazy life, typically a gang/jail tattoo.

Spiderweb - you have served time and killed a minority.

in the Hells angels (the motorcycle club) if a member of a recognised chapter has a small red dot tattooed on the fleshy part of the back of the hand between the thumb and forefinger - it means they have killed a rival gang member and its placed there so when you shake hands with him, you can see it and know not to piss him off too much!
