Halo 3 Ready To Ship ?

A gaming site called Hexus Gaming today published a highly controversial news story claiming that Bungie has completed development of Halo 3, and that the game is basically ready to ship.


According to the insider the final artwork has been finished for disk, booklets and box art, and that one of Europe’s largest CD replicators is on standby, awaiting the green light from Bungie.


When Hexus Gaming asked why Microsoft and Bungie haven’t given it the green light for launch he said he was certain that the hold is a strategic move on Microsoft’s part. Although Halo 3 is ready the delay is to time the launch for “maximum impact”


Now before some of you start bombing our comment section, please remember that until Hexus Gaming or any other news site can provide more evidence, this info should be treated as any other rumor – with little respect and a “bucket of salt.”

as i said in a post in another post, it could be shipping as soon as the ps3 ships(sameday), maybe if it is true, they are gonna bring it out then to sort of shift the spotlight from the ps3, to the gaming power of the 360 with halo 3.

This is highly unlikely. We have not even seen any screenshots yet. I doubt we will even see the game this year.

I can't imagine ANY programmers ever getting something ready ahead of time and sitting on it, there is always something else you can do to improve it, it's always a case of no more time so will have to stop there.

Utter rubbish that a game is finished and just sitting there, especially such a high profile title.
