day is just messed up. There must have been a meaning in the day somewhere in history, but now its just money grabbing. My local florists for example - any day of the yaer bar valentines, can get a dousen roses for under a tenner, and and soon as time comes about, your looking at £20! double price. it sickens me. So, being cheap, i just make her a card - she thinks its really sweet and personal - i know it me being cheap !!

My 2yr old daughter came home from school with a home made happy valentines card for grandma and grandad ffs.

Takes the piss big time how commercialised its become.

I've printed off one of them tesco cards for her indoors and got a nice brown envelope from work to place it in.

I've also got her a gucci bracelet, but that will stay firmly in pocket if she isn't gratefull of my home made card
