Just ran on laptop and got 302.5 not as much as i'd hoped for but being a lappy i suppose its ok.

1gb- corsair vs(2x 512mb
36gb wd raptor
200gb sammy
30gb maxtor
crucial 9800pro 128mb

are better than the above yet the above gets a much higher score,,,,,,,,begining to wonder if the high scorers have a real good sound card installed as i believe this adds a good bit to these type of benchmarks

Ain`t got a clue!

I`m using onboard sound, so it ain`t that.

3 HDD, internal 80G Maxtor & 160 Samsung, external 320G Toshiba (usb).

Don`t make sense, your`s is a better spec for sure.

Probably be down to what your pc's running in the background , check your task manager and taskbar and see how much stuffs running and close some down what aint used so much and test again.

I got 207, but then I am only using my old abacus excuse for a PC.. it initially crashed on graphics so I updated the graphics drivers and it was ok then, so if you having crashing on certain hardware tests it may be worth checking you've got the lates drivers for that device installed.
