Well tbh mate, this really pisses off my gym partner n others at my gym as my lifts for bicep is not all that impressive considering the way they look.

Pushing about 50-55 on dumbell raises and hammer curls, about 40 on preacher (4sets x 8reps)

HI Guns i guess i was impatient and had a thing with my appearence, since about 25 i was a mear 9stone10, and 5ft 7in i did have a good frame but just could`nt seem to put the weight on. I was into the juice within a month of joining David Lloyd gym, big friends and the gear avaliable on tap, it is your peers that drive you.

Now my stats are

Height 5`7"
weight 16.4 stone
Chest 48"
Bicep 17.5"

I know i`m not massive but i do have a family life to think about and i have been bigger in the past i find i can maintain what i`ve got atm.

very nice mate, what do you do for your tris and what are your lifts for them?

4x10 on dips with 40lb dumbell attached

4x8 46lb tricep pushdowns

4x8 60-70kg on close grip bench

Friday night is arms night so we tend to cane arms with 6 different exercises on each muscle (tricep/bicep) and take it in turns so we would start with bicep then one on tri then back to bi and so on.

How long did it take to put all the size on after starting Juice mate?

I`d say around 3-4 years to get really big, but the the trouble with steroid use is that you do have to take time off from using, and gains can seem very slow whilst not on, and even to the point you do feel you are wasting your time and you do start to loose bulk as more and more water comes off.

Whilst on you grow by the week but off cycle you can loose lots very quickly, i try to eat clean every 2 hours to maintain mass, i dont do any cardio at all, but try to lift heavy and often.

Not very much unfortunately

20kg hammers superset with
20kg dumbell curls-usually either 2x5 or 2x6 for both as i am trying to build the weight up.

45kg close grip bench
and i am trying to incorpoate another tri move but i train at home so no push downs and i keep bouncing the weight off me for dips which doesn't please my mum downstairs nor the floorboards. and i have a crappy bench that i can't get the weight up and over the stands comfortably for skull crushers.

Id be upset if you managed it in a year

Dont forget....work both your tricep (Back part of arm) and bicep (front part of arm) as working both sides gives you the size, and even though you are constantly working on your arms through doing other exercises (when doing chest your working on your triceps, doing back your working on biceps and so on) also try and dedicate a night for just arms as well...depending on what your after of course

when i was younger i was really big (still am in the right places) but found i was like a tank when i was playing other sports (football) and not as mobile with all the muscle even though i used to run 3 times a week.
now i have trimmed down and do more cardio work, i weigh a slim 15st and feel actually a lot better my biggest problems were finding tops that looked right so you didnt look like a michelin man .
my wife used to constantly nag me about sleeping with my arms round her at night as the weight used to cut her circulation off, still like to keep fit and was nice reading your post guns...

And here I had this image of you being a fat lard ass Well would you believe it.....So do you still keep active then?? Was there any particualr reasons for giving up the weights or was it more to do with being lean that you prefer...I tend to think that most older guys get to a stage were by they have been there done that type of thing,then just keep to being more into general fitness wise than anything else..Oh and I didnt mean you were an old guy btw
