HI Guns i guess i was impatient and had a thing with my appearence, since about 25 i was a mear 9stone10, and 5ft 7in i did have a good frame but just could`nt seem to put the weight on. Friday night is arms night so we tend to cane arms with 6 different exercises on each muscle (tricep/bicep) and take it in turns so we would start with bicep then one on tri then back to bi and so on.

I`d say around 3-4 years to get really big, but the the trouble with steroid use is that you do have to take time off from using, and gains can seem very slow whilst not on, and even to the point you do feel you are wasting your time and you do start to loose bulk as more and more water comes off.
Whilst on you grow by the week but off cycle you can loose lots very quickly, i try to eat clean every 2 hours to maintain mass, i dont do any cardio at all, but try to lift heavy and often.

Dont forget....work both your tricep (Back part of arm) and bicep (front part of arm) as working both sides gives you the size, and even though you are constantly working on your arms through doing other exercises (when doing chest your working on your triceps, doing back your working on biceps and so on) also try and dedicate a night for just arms as well...depending on what your after of course

when i was younger i was really big (still am in the right places) but found i was like a tank when i was playing other sports (football) and not as mobile with all the muscle even though i used to run 3 times a week.
now i have trimmed down and do more cardio work, i weigh a slim 15st and feel actually a lot better my biggest problems were finding tops that looked right so you didnt look like a michelin man .
my wife used to constantly nag me about sleeping with my arms round her at night as the weight used to cut her circulation off, still like to keep fit and was nice reading your post guns...
