The Strokes have just been confirmed as well, I think to the sister festival in Dublin called Oxegen, the line ups are very similar

I got into the office before everyone else and had about 3 computers on the go refreshing the site til it came on sale and then went one by one round them selecting to buy 2 tickets! hehe! Then i just sat back and waited until one of them came up wtih tickets after a 10 minute wait!

I'm dying to see The Who! I been bouncing round the office singing My Generation all morning! I heard it on radio one on wednesday i think it was that The Who and the Chillis were playing, i decided it was my duty to go to scotland! hehe!

It will only add to my extensive list of gigs i've been to and people i've seen live in concert! hehe!

Managed to get two tickets for me & the other half.

All done and dusted by 9:05. I went for the constant refreshing before 9 strategy as well.

Just out of interest I tried again at 9:10. It thought about it for half an hour and then told me no tickets. Must have been pretty lucky.

I wanted some this year but missed out.

however, go to ebay and grab yourself a bargain , £3100 for 2 tickets.

prices artificially inflated to annoy the touts

    I guarantee you'll have a blast.

Been in my kip for a few hours trying o sort myself out, my mum told me if she went to work early they were willing to let you set up the site on your machine then take a break bang on 9 until you got one/gave up/sold out whatever.

She says a couple of folk in the office got them this way so might give that a whirl for next year. Though saying that camping outside was a right good giggle, I've got festival fever already

Only thing i will say is a plus point bout camping out is that I've known since 11 last night I was getting a ticket, whereas a bet there were a few squeaky bum moments for a few of you online/phone sales peeps.

One amusing tale is a lassie I was camping out with went back to her flat in argyle street for the toliet and a bottle of something cheeky for the troops at 6 in the morning. That was last we saw of her!

Bet you she is physically sick now
