    Default Saw

Ok there is a lot of confusion about this. Which cuts are completely uncut? Obviously the uncut version is but the usual version looks the same as the uncut. I just got the special edition as I wanted all the extras but runtime seems to be 99mins whereas imdb says 102mins. The special apparently is the remastered directors cut which is usually uncut :s

    Anyway an answer is appreciated,
    Cheers

Cheers for that, it confuses me more but K+

    "R1 America - (Lion's Gate) - No Cuts - "R-Rated US Theatrical" 103.02 mins (NTSC)."

    Mines a 99min directors cut :s

the time difference may be due to the ntsc to pal covertion, if u have the R2 release.

Regarding saw, i think we got the uncut version in the uk cinema, but the US release was cut in some way, because theyre all pussies over there

I thought about the frame rate transfer but would the conversion between 25 and 29 (or whatever it is) make that much difference and actually change runtime? Surely it just adds frames to the same runtime?

Yea, I saw it in cinema, I think they cut out the amputation scene in the US. I thought it was said the UK uncut had more than the UK cinema still :s

I thought the £19.99 special 2 disc edition must be uncut but there are 3 releases over here!

Nope PAL speedup is real - 99 mins from 103 sounds about right...
