The Kahala Mandarin in Oahu. The dogs bollocks. Friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you and an immaculate private beach. Spent my wedding night there and the service was excellent. Featured in Lost Series 1 as well.

The bed was full size mate. Could have got three of the maids in there as well as the wife. ;-)

You could say that but I got married there. The room was 240 a night in 2002. Would go back tomorrow... Beats the shit out of the holidays I don't have these days.

Ive stayed in a few hotels, none of them really special but the best would be the Luxor in Vegas just the feeling of going diagonally in a lift is the strangest thing ever and looking out of the window to see a sphinx.

Hotels in Dublin the Morgan in temple bar they have plasma screens in the rooms, next time I will be taking a bigger suitcase and a screwdriver.

i stayed in this one a few weeks ago:

    http://www.baiyoke.co.th/baiyokesky/index.html

the view from the top was amazing, it had an open air rotating roof.

although the room was pretty average really and for some reason the room windows are pretty small and covered with a mesh, spoiling the view, we stayed in the montien hotel also in thailand which was a nicer room and had a great view of the bangkok river
