thumbnails

i've got this problem with my pc.

in evey folder on all 4 HDD all my files and folders are in thumbail view.

i change them back and when i come back to that folder after restarting my pc there back in the thumbnail view??

any one know how i can sort this without having to reformatt.

Open a folder and select the view type you want, list, details etc.

Then select Tools>Folder Options... and the View tab, and then click on "Apply to All Folders", confirm the action and all your folders should now open with the view you specified.

Control Panel >> Folder options >> View..... Look for "Remember each folders view settings". Make sure its checked.

ok thanks guys. i did this last time. and it went back to thumbnails.
i'll see how it goes, i might not of pressed apply last time
