As a matter of interest... can you post about em as well.
Why you got them, do they mean anything, or just "look cool".
The price, how long they took, pain factor... etc.
Subject interests me
Good thread.
Why "Parker"?
Why the debilitated "sun"?
I'm curious as well.
Spill.
ok - from left to right
Parker, done back in November, its the name of my Son, and is on the base of my back, quite large about 10 inches wide and 5 inches high at the tallest point. It cost me £80 took about 1 1/2 hours and wasnt painful at all.
Star, done back in October, it was a design I wanted for a long while, I intend on getting two partnering stars of a similar design along the same rib cage - pain, fucking pain more like. Agony. Apparantly one of the most painful places to get one done. The guy doing it had a jacket, and told me the only part he couldnt sit through completing was both sides....didnt give me confidence i must admit, lol! cost £70 took about 45 mins
The Celtic design, got done when I was 18, its on my forearm - I only really got it because I used to play a bit of basketball and alot of the "pros" had one, so naturally, I had the chance to make it, and I thought I would make it big time, so got the tat's all prepared for the scouts....needless to say I didnt make the cut but like the tattoo....it needs repointing now as its so old, and I am thinking of getting it extended or incorporated in a full sleeve. Guy at shop is workin on something for it now. Fuck knows how much it cost, and I didnt feel a thing.
Sun - got when I was 16, present from my mum for passing all my exams back in high school...he he, just liked the design simple as that really. It cost £70 and took around an hour to do. its 12 years old now - how time fucking flies!!

i like the parker writing looks well kewl
the star looks well done mate, seen a few that are not very good....when you say pain what do you mean?? i`m looking at a dragon for my side tattooist reckons 2 maybe 3 hrs , he says "huh, must like pain" me "errr not really.." but i did use ametop on the bottom of my back and didn`t feel anything so was thinking of using it again LOL
Oh f@ck it!

I have had that numbing done before - didnt feel a single thing. Recommended for small tattoos. It would be useless having it for a tattoo of 2-3 hours mate, as the effect rubs off after 30 mins really.
As for the star, yeh was really pleased with how it turned out, considering I had an alergic reaction to the protective med pack I had on it and the tatoo itself went all infected...there is only a couple of spots that need filling back in as a result - which is brilliant news in itself.
With star tattoos though, you will find many of them may look shitty depending on the cleverness of the tattoo artist that is working on it...if he tattoos the star on with your arm up in the air for instance, then when you put your arm back down by your side, it will look all fucked up and out of shape...my guy was clever enough to do it with my arm in the "normal" position of being at my side....was awkward to sit through, but well worth it
any of u guys replied got tats u would like to share?

1 Tube of Ametop will last 6 hours from when you take it off m8.Originally Posted by nok1
Its no good applied thinly though, doesnt work properly unless its on thick.
And you need to leave it on for 45 mins for it to cook properly.

Wouldnt dream of using it on myself, it would cost more for the cream than the tattoo for me.

inside right forearm ^ just something i designed really, no meaning to it
outside right forearm ^ same as above
right calf ^ again, i was doodling in work one day and came up with it
outside left forearm ^ this is a nickname of mine i have had since i had my tongue pierced
upper left arm ^ this is 69 in roman numerals, i did not like the font so i found a funkier one
top of left arm ^ i like scorpions, i have been scorpion hunting in various parts of north africa, its fun
upper right arm ^ another one i sort of designed, i got the sun out of a tattoo magazine and thought it would look cool with a ying yang
top right arm ^ tweety rules and angry tweety like this one is even better! also the girls luv it
i agree , the trouble with the old english is i can`t read it half the timeOriginally Posted by casio
