    Default Mothers Day

    Hi all,

I know a few of you are in a similar boat here.

I'm looking to get Mrs J something nice and speacial for Mothers day from baby J. Especially being the first.

I wondered if any of you had any good (sensible) ideas?

    Cheers,
    Tommy J

How about one of those things that you make a mould of babies hand/foot in, there are proper one's to use with babies, it'd last 'forever' too.
Plus a nice photo in a 'World's Best Mum' or similar photo frame, plus flowers I suppose lol

I did one of these last year when ours was about twelve weeks and it is fucking hard work if they are wriggly. The stuff you use is what they do impressions of teeth with, chromatic alginate. They do look ace though when done and framed and all that.

Yeah, I thought of the spa and healthy day out but she's got a massage booked already.

We've got loads of photo's so a nice frame sounds a good idea.

Failing that I could always give her my load for another one....

    Thanks,
    Tommy J

If your after the hand/foot mold then I think Mothercare do them if not then try http://www.christening-gift.co.uk/ch...on/process.asp

I saw loads of photo frames in ASDA on Saturday, they're quite nice as a little gift.

ebay gave me mine. There are a few options but I went for the one that you can mould two things with cos if you fuck one up then at least you have something else to have a go with. It is a two man job to do it and requires good timing.

If you get it right first time you should be able to do her one of your helmet as well for her when you are out at the pub.
