Lost my receipt...

Well last year I bought myself an espresso machine so I could have my fix every morning, then the thing went and died on me last week.

It did come with a two year guarantee so I rang the manufacturer and they said sure; send it back and we'll fix or replace it, just remember to include your original till receipt.

Well damn I can't find the thing... so I was wondering, can some clever fooker write me an HTML one that looks good that I can staple to the warranty card and send back.

The model is a Morphy Richards 47505 Roma Stainless Steel Pump Espresso Coffee Maker like this one:

If you paid with a card then send them a copy of your statement.

Or failing that the machine will have a batch number on it and Morphy Richards will be able to work out when it was made and aprox' when it was sold (IE within the two years).

not quite sure why you want a html receipt but fair enough

anyway, if you cant another method to work you could use what would normally be a scam but isnt in your case since you really did buy it within the period. buy another one, keep the receipt, swap them over and send back the fucked one with the new receipt then you'll have two of them so bash one on ebay and you're set at only the small financial loss of the ebay price being lower and also the hassle

You don't, by law, need a receipt, but you need to provide proof of purchase.

As stated above, a copy of your bank statement (blank out the bits they don't need to see) and you will be fine.

Just remember, they don't have to give a receipt unless you ask for one.

yea as lin sid bank statement wud be bes bet blankout ur other stuff. sum places dont give receipts unless requested at the time.
