I don't know what film it is from (which is helpful!), but it has been recreated in many films/tv shows/cartoons over the years.
I am trying to think what the music is from the scenes where the 2 lovers are reunited and they run in slow motion towards each other. It's hard to describe, its kind of like a classical tune that starts as an arpeggio going higher and higher until they finally get to each other and theres like a slow but enchanting romantic tune.
Someone help me out here it's doing my nut in!

It's called Romeo and Juliet - I don't know the composer - Simon Bates used to use it as the Our Tune theme.

Edit: the composer was Nino Rota, franco was the producer

Ok i've downloaded each one of the songs mentioned, and whilst they are indeed classics.....they aren't the one i am looking for. The song i am looking for has been in so many spoofs and stuff on TV. FOr example i can remember it been in Ren and Stimpy when Stimpy gets reuinted with one of his bogeys or something, and they do the slow mo running towards each other and the music plays....... arrrrrrrrrrgh its doing my head in i wont sleep tonight.

ps. Joelataxi it isn't Ravel - Bolero, and rap it isn't love story either i don't think (at least not the 2 versions i have got here!)
