F/S:Truck load of Creative CD-ROM Drives

I have 475 (yes, Four Hundred and Seventy Five) Creative Labs CD-Rom Drives (52 speed).

These are Creative labs RMA stock that came from Raptor (I have no idea of the history). My house is currently like a warehouse so I want to sell these off quick as bulk (mainly to get my spare bedroom back!!!!!).

These are all bare drives... and all with the "Creative Labs" logo on the front. Some of these drives look mint. Some have condensation marks on the metal casing from where they have been sitting in the boxes and a minority of them have rust marks on them.

However all of these drives are sold as "untested" (hence the cheap price)

Prices....

30 Drives = �25
100 Drives = �70
250 Drives = �150
475 Drives = �280 (priority will be given to anyone wanting to buy all 475)

Unfortunately postage is not really an option because even a tray of 30 drives wieghs a lot. However, if you can't collect from my house in South Birmingham... Mr DG is willing to deliver to the Birmingham/Midlands area if you agree to cover petrol costs (and possibly even further depending on amount you want).

These are sold by the tray. Yes, if you come round the house you can pick which tray you think is the best, but I won't allow anyone to cherry pick the best looking individual drives from all the trays.

Note - in the photo's below, the CD-rom's a split into 30 per tray (except the one on the shelf at the back which contains 25)

Hi Dirtygirl,

I'm sorry if you don't like the sound of this, but bumping this post up is like flogging a dead horse. I don't think any member of digital forums is going to buy one redundant cd-rom drive let alone 30 of them.

Have you though about taking them to a car boot fair and selling them for pennies? Or cutting your losses and giving them up to a charity who builds computers to be sent to Africa.

Think of the space you will be getting back in that room.

well done for selling them. I took over 500 new black HP drives to the dump last year as no one would buy them.

I still throw 20+ away each week so if anyone wants to buy them let me know!
