i have a nokia 6230 and it fell into the sink now it wont switch on and i put my sim card into another phone and have lost all my text messages and most my contacts is there any where i can purchase sw or hw to retrieve all my info or am i waisting my time thanks guys....

If the sim has lost all the contacts/messages and another handset doesnt see them then sw wont find the either.

it hasnt lost all of them but maybe 50% of them is there any way possible i could get the rest back

try putting near some heat take everything off battery covers and leave for a hour or two

Whwhere were the contacts stored ??

If they were on the sim I doubt very much you getting them back. If they were on the handset then you will have to get it treated and then you should be ok.

There is a very good chance the handset is recoverable.

chances are the lost contacts are stored on the water damaged handset
